The DELTA (Diaz Energy and Sustainability Lab on Theory and Advanced Materials) Group studies how engineered and biological soft materials interact with and transport molecules, ions, and heat. We use this fundamental knowledge to co-engineer materials with systems and processes that use these materials. Our work is guided by technoeconomic analyses aiming to address important challenges in energy, water, and sustainability.
